Black Diamond Ranch

Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida is home to 45 holes of golf designed by Tom Fazio. The now-famous Quarry Course was built first, carved in and around the site's former quarry. While less architecturally unique than the Quarry, the Ranch Course is a challenging layout full of oaks and pines. Fazio calls the Ranch's 16th through 18th holes "the three best finishing holes I've ever designed". The nine-hole Highlands Course was added in 1999. It's no short course, instead a 3500-yard, par-36 challenge. Black Diamond Ranch is 80 miles north of Tampa and 85 miles northwest of Orlando.
